Financial Advisor
Mr. Dapper provides investment advice to CACH clients on an exclusive basis. Previously, he was the General Counsel for Choice Asset Management, Inc. and its subsidiary companies Choice Advisory Group, Inc. and Choice Investments, Inc., altogether the largest regional independent financial services firms in Austin, Texas. Prior to that position, he was Of Counsel to De Leon, Boggins & Icenogle, P.C., a full-service Austin, Texas-based law firm.
Mr. Dapper was also General Counsel, Secretary and Director of Business and Legal Affairs and acting Chief Financial Officer of Luminex Corporation, a publicly-traded (NASDAQ: LMNX) diagnostic testing equipment and consumables maker from 1997 to 2001. There he structured and helped raise over $100 million dollars across four private placement equity offerings and was instrumental in forming their initial public offering in March 2000.
Mr. Dapper earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from The University of Texas School of Law. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude from Southwestern University, in Georgetown, Texas. He remains active in several community organizations and is a frequently sought out advisor in business development planning by emerging companies.
